The Executive Chairman of Oyo West local government, Ojongbodu areas of Oyo State, who is seeking re-election bid campaign, Hon. Prince Salam Akeem Babatunde Olukitibi has congratulated the former first female Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu, on her recent appointment as member of the State Election Management Committee.
As a former senator and highly experienced political figure, she’ll bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the new role.
The council Boss further reiterated that His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde has appointed the best capable hands to coordinate the forthcoming local government elections, as Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu will serve wonderfully well in managing the council poll in the Oyo federal constituency.
