The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship Candidate in Oyo East local government, Hon. Oluokun Olusola Peter, and his vice Abd Wasiu Ademola Mustapha Waspha have Congratulated the Distinguished Senator Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu on her appointment as member of the State Election Management Committee.
Her appointment was officially announced by the PDP State Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke on Wednesday.
The Committees announced are to work towards the victory of the forthcoming Local Government Election coming up on April 27, 2024.
In a statement released and made available to Heritage Echo News, Oluokun said, the appointment of our Distinguished Senator as a member of the State Election Management Committee is well deserved and most expected due to her charisma, experience, knowledge of her political terrain, and some attributes that distinguished her out to be distinctive.
Oluokun/Waspha added that they have confidence in the leadership styles of Former Speaker, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, and other members of the Committee and that they will work to ensure that all the PDP Candidates come out victoriously.
We pray that Almighty Allah will guide and protect Senator Monsurat Sunmonu and other members of the committee on their new assignment and not stop his blessings and protection on His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde whose administration continues to impact positively the lives of the masses.
