The Executive Chairman of Oyo East local government, Hon. Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi (Arosad) has sympathized with the victims of the unfortunate scene explosion caused as a result of the negligence of illegal Miners who had stored explosive device in their residence.
Arowosaye commended the swift response of the executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde on his show of empathy having deployed relevant security agencies, and disasters response team to avert the wake of the tragic explosion, leading to irreplaceable loss of lives and properties to many families.
He lauded the governor on his promise to punish the perpetrator of the Ibadan explosion, as the State government set up an emergency center, and provided accommodations to the victims, saying that no stone was unturned regarding the search and rescue of victims at the rubble of the incident as well as the welfare of victims and the security of the life and properties.
The council Boss further extended heartfelt condolences to the relatives of the victims, urging the residents to be calm as the government and relevant security authorities determine the next line of action.
Arowosaye sues for productive synergy between the government and citizens against illegal Miners to avoid the reoccurrence of such incidents While praying for the repose of the souls of the departed.
