The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship candidate in Atiba local government for the forthcoming local government election in Oyo State, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji (Wabkem) has congratulated the duo of the former Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olawale Maroof Atilola on his appointment as Chairman Oyo State Scholarship Board and Hon. Saka Moshood Abiodun as the Senior Special Assistant (OYSIEC) respectively by His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde.
Recall that Governor Makinde on Wednesday approved the appointment of Rt Hon Olawale Atilola and Hon. Saka Moshood Abiodun alongside others into various positions, Boards Parastatals, and Agencies, the appointments were announced in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
In a congratulatory message made available to Heritage Echo News, the Frontline candidate for the Royal Council commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde for finding chieftains of PDP in Oyo federal constituency, Rt Hon Atilola worthy of appointment as well as the coordinator of SMAART for the reelection bid of His Excellency, Hon Saka Moshood Abiodun.
As the board chairman of the Oyo State Scholarship Board, I’m optimistic that Rt Hon Atilola will perform excellently well to complement Governor Makinde’s efforts in steering the state towards further development. As Rt Hon returned to the scholarship board as Chairman, he’s poised to take on responsibility in spanning educational standards with productive rewards”.
Hon Saka Moshood Abiodun has been representing the Oyo federal constituency well in State affairs, his impact in Omituntun 1.0 cannot be ignored, he has been a productive youth with exceptional qualities for pacesetter State development, and he’ll surely perform excellently well” Wabkem assured
He further maintained that the appointees are worthy of emulation, noting that their new chapter will be a moment for exciting development in Oyo and the State in particular.
The Royal Council-endorsed candidates now pray that God will guide them in showcasing their exceptional proficiency in government toward the road map for the sustainable development agenda of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde.
