A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Maroof Olawale Atilola extends heartfelt sympathies to the residents of Oyo and the bereaved family on the passing of the former Nigerian ambassador to Zambia and Malawi, the late High Chief Moses Oyedele Ogunmola, aged 95years.
In a condolence message made available to Heritage Echo News, Hon. Olawale Atilola said Baba was a father to all Oyo sons and daughters not only to his biological productions but both to home and beyond.

“Papa Ogunmola, an eminent education administrator, possessed unparalleled qualities as a visionary and inventive leader, a true nation-builder, perfect historian of note” he stated.

“He didn’t keep Malice and was friendly to all who came across him while alive. I had the privilege of being the Chairman of his 80th BD at Alliance Hotel some years ago and I cherished his fatherly fraternity”.

“He wrote some Historical books on the old Oyo empire and majored in Oyo Alaafin in particular while some of his texts were used as an undergraduate in comparative historical analysis in West Africa theorem.
” His use of tenses was brilliant in Elizabethian colloquialism and meticulous in his choice of vocabulary”.
People aren’t measured nor valued as homo-sapiens when alive but legacies left behind after their demise speak volumes of their contributions to the development of the human race in our contemporary natural habitat.
Adieu
