Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, maintained their hundred percent home record with a 3-1 win over Doma United of Gombe.

The Matchday five fixture, saw the Oluyole Warriors rallied back from a goal down to beat the Savannah Tigers, in a match played at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

The visitors shot to a shocking lead in the eight minute when Nelson Abiam’s free kick was deflected into the net.

The Ibadan soccer lords thereafter, fought hard to get the leveller but met stiff resistance in the visitors.

Breakthrough would however, come the way of the host in the 44th minute when central defender, Gbolagade Adelowo scored from the spot after the referee awarded a penalty to the host, following an infringement in the box on overlapping right back, Muritala Taiye, to end the first half 1-1.

Shooting Stars came out smoking in the second half as they raided the visitors’ goal area in search of the second goal.

Oke Kayode has two golden opportunity to kill off the Savannah Tigers, but the hardworking striker was unable to hit the target.

Substitute, Kareem Ayinde Ademola finally got the well deserved second goal for the Ibadan soccer lords in the 60th minute when he dribbled his way into the oponent’s goal area before driving the ball past goalkeeper Osayi Kingdom, to send the stadium into wild jubilation.

With three of the six additional minutes played, another substitute, Gideon Monday, made it an irredeemable misson for Doma United with the third goal, firing home from outside the 18- yard box,off a Muritala Taiye’s pass, leaving goalkeeper Osayi helpless again.

The results lifts the Oluyole Warriors to the second position on the log behind Rangers International, having garnered 10 points from five matches, with the Flying Antelopes ahead due to better goal difference.
