The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has felicitated with residents and members of staff of the council on the commencement of the month of September, assuring them that his administration will sustain its commitment to good governance, development and improved welfare.
Olufade, in his New Month message, described September as another opportunity to renew hope, strengthen the bond between the government and the people, and consolidate the achievements recorded by his administration.
The council boss extended his warm greetings to residents across the 12 wards of Ibadan North, as well as the dedicated workforce of the local government, appreciating their support, cooperation and contributions to the growth and development of the council.
He assured the people that good work will not stop, stressing that his administration remains fully committed to delivering people-oriented programmes and projects that will positively impact the lives of residents.
According to him, the welfare and wellbeing of everyone within Ibadan North remain at the heart of his administration’s agenda, noting that efforts would continue to be intensified towards creating a better, safer and more prosperous environment for all.
Olufade said the administration would continue to listen to the yearnings and aspirations of the people while pursuing initiatives capable of bringing sustainable development to the grassroots.
He urged residents and staff to embrace the new month with renewed optimism, unity and determination, assuring them that the administration would remain committed to purposeful service and responsive leadership.
The chairman also used the occasion to offer prayers for the people of Ibadan North, seeking divine blessings, protection and guidance throughout the month.
He prayed that September would bring peace, joy, happiness, prosperity and tremendous achievements to residents, staff members and their families, while expressing optimism that the new month would usher in greater opportunities and positive developments for the local government.
He further called on residents to continue supporting the administration and contributing their quota to the peace, progress and development of Ibadan North.
Olufade concluded by wishing the people and staff of Ibadan North a happy, peaceful and prosperous September, assuring them that his administration would continue to place their welfare and collective progress at the forefront of its governance.
