The Secretary to Oyo West Local Government, Ojongbodu, Hon. Adekanmbi Adepeju Folashade, has congratulated Hon. Nureni Alade Adesola on his emergence as the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) consensus Chairmanship candidate for Oyo West Local Government ahead of the forthcoming local government election.
In a congratulatory message released and made available to newsmen on Monday, Hon. Mrs. Adekanmbi described Alade’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership qualities, dedication to public service, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Oyo West.
She noted that the consensus adoption by party leaders and stakeholders reflects the confidence reposed in Alade’s capacity to provide purposeful, inclusive, and people-oriented leadership capable of consolidating on the developmental strides recorded within the local government.
According to the Council Secretary, the decision of the party to present a consensus candidate demonstrates the unity, maturity, and collective resolve of the Allied Peoples Movement to advance good governance and strengthen grassroots democracy.
Hon. Adekanmbi expressed confidence that Alade possesses the vision, competence, and experience required to effectively address the aspirations of the people while promoting sustainable development across communities in Oyo West Local Government.
