‎
‎A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and 2027 gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Akeem Agbaje, has congratulated the matriarch, Florence Ajimobi, on her appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
‎
‎In a congratulatory message, Barr Akeem Agbaje described the appointment as a recognition of Chief (Mrs.) Ajimobi’s long standing commitment to public service, diplomacy, and national development.
‎
‎President Tinubu had approved the posting of 65 ambassadors to Nigeria’s foreign missions across the world, including Chief (Mrs.) Ajimobi who was assigned to Austria. The appointment followed the earlier confirmation of the nominees by the Senate of Nigeria.
‎
‎Agbaje noted that the appointment of the former First Lady of Oyo State to represent Nigeria abroad was a source of pride to the people of the state, describing her as a woman of dignity, grace, and experience whose contributions to society remain widely acknowledged.
‎
‎“Your Excellency, this appointment is a testament to your years of dedication to service and your enduring commitment to the advancement of our country. Your calm strength, wisdom, and motherly guidance have continued to inspire many within and beyond Oyo State.”
‎
‎He expressed confidence that Chief (Mrs.) Ajimobi would bring honour to Nigeria in her new diplomatic assignment and strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Austria.
‎
‎Agbaje also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the confidence reposed in the matriarch, noting that her appointment reflects the administration’s recognition of capable Nigerians who can effectively represent the nation on the global stage.
‎
‎“I congratulate Your Excellency on this well deserved appointment. I pray that Almighty God grants you sound health, wisdom, and success as you assume this important responsibility in the service of our nation.”
