‎Barr. Akeem Agbaje, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and 2027 gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, honoured the annual Ramadan Lecture organised by the League of Imams and Alfas, Ibadan North West Local Government, with his presence as Guest of Honour.
‎
‎The well attended lecture was held under the leadership of the Chief Imam of Oyo State and brought together Islamic clerics, community leaders, and faithful from across the local government area for spiritual reflection and guidance during the holy month.
‎
‎The guest lecturer for the event was Sakirulahi Abata, who delivered an insightful sermon centred on piety, discipline, and the need for unity within the Muslim community and the broader society. He urged adherents to uphold the values of honesty, compassion, and peaceful coexistence, noting that Ramadan offers a unique opportunity for moral renewal and collective responsibility.
‎
‎In his remarks, Barr Akeem Agbaje expressed appreciation to the League of Imams and Alfas for sustaining the tradition of annual spiritual engagement, describing religious institutions as vital partners in promoting peace and social harmony.
‎
‎He commended the Chief Imam and other clerics for their steadfast leadership and guidance, especially at a time when society requires moral direction and sincere prayers for stability and progress and encouraged the faithful to use the sacred period of Ramadan to deepen their devotion to Almighty God, extend support to the less privileged, and intercede for the peace and development of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
