LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Annex, Oyo: PDP Chairmen Commend Makinde Over Ongoing Rehabilitation, Construction Works

Chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across local government areas in Oyo Federal Constituency, Alh. Kareem Adesina Rasheed Àgbà —Oyo East LG Chairman, Akeem Adebayo A. —Oyo West LG Chairman, Isiaka Adejare — Atiba LG Chairman, and Akinade Oyetunji Ezekiel — Afijio LG Chairman have lauded His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde Governor for the ongoing rehabilitation and construction works at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Annex in Oyo town.

The party leaders described the project as a significant milestone in the present administration’s drive to reposition the healthcare sector and improve access to quality medical services for residents of the state.

Speaking during a visit to the facility, the PDP chairmen expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work being carried out, noting that the intervention would not only enhance healthcare delivery but also decongest major hospitals in the state capital.

They emphasized that the upgrade of the annex of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital would strengthen the institution’s capacity for training medical personnel, research, and specialized treatment.

According to the chairmen, the project reflects Governor Makinde’s commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises, particularly in the areas of health and infrastructure development.

They further noted that the administration’s consistent investment in critical sectors is gradually transforming the state’s socio-economic landscape and restoring public confidence in governance.

The PDP leaders also commended the governor for prioritizing the welfare of citizens, adding that improved healthcare infrastructure would reduce the burden on families seeking medical care outside the state.

They urged residents to continue supporting the Makinde-led administration, assuring that more developmental projects would be delivered across all zones of the state.

In the same vein, the chairmen called on stakeholders in the health sector to ensure proper maintenance and effective utilization of the facility upon completion.

They reiterated that the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Annex project stands as a testament to purposeful leadership and responsive governance.

The visit concluded with a renewed pledge by the PDP chairmen to mobilize grassroots support for policies and programmes aimed at sustaining development in Oyo State.
