Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Oyo East/Oyo West State Constituency, Hon. Olorunpoto Cephas Rahaman, has commended the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, for his exemplary leadership following the successful completion of his tenure as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.
Hon. Olorunpoto described Ogundoyin’s tenure as impactful, unifying, and transformative for legislative governance in the country.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Tuesday, Hon. Olorunpoto said the Speaker’s leadership at the national level was marked by strategic coordination, maturity, and a deep commitment to strengthening democratic institutions across the federation.
According to him, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin proved himself through years of service, demonstrating competence, resilience, and a clear understanding of the responsibilities entrusted to him by his colleagues nationwide.
“Over the years, you have been measured, tested, and proven in performance. Your leadership has not only strengthened legislative collaboration across Nigeria but has also projected Oyo State as a model of stability, maturity, and progressive governance,” the lawmaker stated.
Hon. Olorunpoto noted that Ogundoyin’s calm disposition and inclusive leadership style helped foster cooperation among state legislatures, while also enhancing the relevance of the Conference of Speakers in national discourse.
