As the new year unfolds, the member representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), has reassured his constituents of renewed commitment to effective, people-focused representation anchored on service and inclusive development.

In a statement signed by his Media Group in Ibadan, Agboworin noted that in the New Year, he would be engaged in deeper engagement, stronger advocacy, and sustained legislative focus on issues that directly affect the lives of the people.

Reflecting on the outgoing year, the lawmaker noted that his approach to representation would always be guided by substance rather than noise.

“Representation goes beyond headlines and making noise. It is about consistency, responsibility, and ensuring that the voices of my constituents are heard where decisions are made,” Agboworin said.

The two term lawmaker emphasized that his work in the National Assembly remains focused on making laws, promoting policies that improve social welfare, and advance national stability, while keeping the specific needs of his constituency firmly in view.

Agboworin acknowledged the support and patience of constituents, describing their trust as a responsibility he does not take lightly.

According to him, the new year presents another opportunity to deepen consultation with community leaders, youths, women groups, and across the constituency as well as stakeholders in the party.

“I remain committed to listening more, engaging better, and working harder to justify the confidence reposed in me by the people,” he added.

He equally reiterated his resolve to continue to facilitate initiatives that would enhance education, youth empowerment, healthcare access, and infrastructure development to his constituency.
