Notin that Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has approved the completion of the Apete-Awotan-Akufo Road project, a 12km stretch with an additional 2.2km extension to the Akufo Farm Settlement Road, valued at N1.9 billion.
The project’s completion will have a direct impact on farmers at the Akufo Farm Settlement, improving their ability to transport produce to markets in Ibadan city. This development is expected to encourage food production and distribution, contributing to the state’s economic growth, which is projected to rise to 3.6% in 2025.
