Barr. Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a two termed gubernatorial aspirant , has extended warm felicitations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, the Alaafin of Oyo, on the joyous occasion of his 50th birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message made available to the press, the 2027 Oyo State gubernatorial aspirant described the golden jubilee of Oba Owoade as a moment of reflection, celebration, and appreciation for a life devoted to tradition, service, and the preservation of Yoruba cultural heritage.
He noted that Oba Owoade’s reign, though still in its early years, has already begun to reflect his commitment to the dignity of the revered Alaafin stool, as well as the development of the Oyo kingdom and the larger Yoruba race.
“Your Majesty’s life at 50 is a testimony to divine grace and purposeful living. Your role as a traditional ruler continues to inspire hope in cultural preservation, peaceful coexistence, and communal growth.”
He further prayed for the monarch’s continued wisdom, sound health, and long life on the throne, as he continues to lead the Oyo Kingdom with honour and courage.
“As you celebrate this milestone, I join your family, subjects, and the entire Oyo people in wishing you peace, strength, and divine guidance in your reign. Happy 50th Birthday, iku baba yeye.”
