Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 in the Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, has extended her warm Independence Day greetings to her constituents, residents of Ibadan North and Nigerians at home and abroad.


According to a statement made available to the press through her media team, Hon. Adeniyi Olajide congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 66th Independence Anniversary, describing the celebration as an opportunity to reflect on Nigeria’s journey while renewing hope and commitment to a peaceful, united and prosperous nation.

She expressed appreciation to her constituents and residents of Ibadan North for their continued support and confidence, reaffirming her commitment to effective representation and initiatives that promote the welfare and inclusion of women, youths and vulnerable members of society.

The statement also highlighted her call for greater unity, peaceful coexistence and collective responsibility in building a stronger Nigeria where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive.


Hon. Adeniyi Olajide, who is also the APM candidate for Ibadan North Constituency 1, called for a national reset anchored on unity, inclusion, responsible citizenship and a shared commitment to Nigeria’s progress.
