The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (KSA), has provided financial support to artisans and small-business operators in Apete and Omi Apata areas of Ido Local Government Area, Oyo State.

During his engagement with the groups, Adedeji interacted with members of the Omi Apata Hairdressers Association, Apete tailors, farmers, cobblers and Olada riders, where he listened to concerns affecting their businesses and livelihoods.

As part of the intervention, KSA donated a total of ₦2.2 million to the various groups to support their businesses and day-to-day economic activities.

The APM candidate also pledged to provide three sewing machines to the Apete Tailoring group, describing the initiative as part of his efforts to support vocational skills, entrepreneurship and grassroots economic empowerment.

The beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting that the financial assistance and promised equipment would help strengthen their businesses and contribute to their ability to support their families.

KSA further stated that supporting artisans, traders, farmers, transport workers and other grassroots economic actors would remain an important part of his engagement with residents of the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.

The engagement forms part of his ongoing interactions with different groups within the constituency, with emphasis on understanding their needs and identifying areas of support for local economic activities.
