The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and the First Lady of the state, Her Excellency, Engr. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, on the conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aare Soludero and Yeye Soludero, respectively.
The Chairman of the Agency, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, described the honour bestowed on the Governor and his wife as a well-deserved recognition of their outstanding contributions to the growth, development and progress of Oyo State.
Hon. Falana noted that Governor Makinde’s leadership has continued to provide purposeful governance and sustainable development across various sectors, while also creating opportunities for young people and strengthening the foundations for a more prosperous future for the state.
He added that the First Lady has also continued to demonstrate compassion and commitment through her support for initiatives that promote the welfare and development of women, children and families across the state.
According to the Agency Chairman, the conferment of the titles of Aare Soludero and Yeye Soludero on the Governor and the First Lady is a reflection of their dedication to the service of humanity and their remarkable contributions to the advancement of society.
Hon. Falana, on behalf of the management and staff of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, as well as the teeming youths of the state, prayed for greater wisdom, strength and divine guidance for the Governor and his wife as they continue to serve the people.
He expressed confidence that the Makinde administration would continue to record remarkable achievements and consolidate on its developmental strides, particularly in programmes and policies designed to empower and prepare young people for a productive and prosperous future.
The Agency Chairman therefore congratulated the Governor and the First Lady on the prestigious honours, describing the occasion as another significant milestone in their journey of service, leadership and commitment to the development of Oyo State and its people.
