The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, popularly known as KSA, has donated ₦500,000 in support of community development initiatives in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The donation was announced on Friday during a familiarisation tour of communities across the local government, as part of efforts by the APM candidate to engage directly with residents and community leaders ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The delegation visited five communities, including Akinbiyi, Aiyelokun, Olokiti, Aba Alfa and parts of Alaagba.

Addressing residents and community leaders during the tour, Adedeji said the financial support was intended to complement grassroots development efforts and demonstrate his commitment to the wellbeing of communities within the constituency.

He further pledged that more development-oriented initiatives would be attracted to Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency if he secures the mandate to represent the people at the National Assembly in 2027.

According to him, effective representation goes beyond political office and must be measured by the ability of elected representatives to identify the needs of their constituents and work towards addressing them.
Adedeji also commended Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for what he described as the administration’s developmental strides across the state over the past eight years.
He particularly cited infrastructure and other people-oriented initiatives as evidence of the administration’s commitment to improving the quality of life of residents.
“I appreciate Governor Makinde for his commitment to infrastructure and people-oriented governance in Oyo State. If elected, I will bring the same level of dedication and development to Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency,” Adedeji said.
The APM candidate emphasised the need for stronger grassroots engagement and inclusive representation, promising to make the interests and aspirations of constituents central to his legislative agenda.
The visit was accompanied by several APM leaders and members of the KSA campaign team, including the APM State Leader, Alhaji Akinsola Ayuba; Special Assistant to the Governor on Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency, Mr. Akano Matthew; APM Chairman, Ido Local Government, Alhaji Musibaudeen Emiola; Director-General of the KSA Campaign Council, Hon. Adeyanju Mustapha; Mr. Akinola Olumide, popularly known as Olumba; Mr. Onaolapo Ademola Omiyale; and the APM candidate for Ido State Constituency, Hon. Rafiu Olayinka Omotosho.
Community members who received the delegation expressed appreciation for the gesture and engagement, while pledging continued support for the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
The tour is part of the APM candidate’s ongoing grassroots mobilisation and consultation efforts across Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, with emphasis on direct engagement, community development and people-centred representation.
