The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has commended Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for what he described as seven years of transformative and miraculous achievements in the state.

In a statement on Saturday, the youngest-ever chairman of the council praised Governor Makinde’s leadership, which he said has brought unprecedented development across infrastructure, education, health, security, and economic empowerment, describing it as “seven years of miracles.”

Hon. Kamorudeen noted that the governor’s people-oriented policies have not only uplifted the living standards of residents in Lagelu but also positioned Oyo State as a model of good governance in Nigeria.

The Lagelu helmsman particularly highlighted the governor’s commitment to delivering dividends of democracy, stressing that his administration’s support has enabled significant strides in local governance.

“Governor Seyi Makinde is a visionary leader whose impact is felt in every corner of Oyo State. His seven years in office have indeed been miraculous, with tangible projects that have changed the narrative of governance,” Hon. Kamorudeen said.

The chairman also extended warm congratulations to Governor Makinde on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for the 2027 general elections. He described the development as a testament to the governor’s sterling performance and widespread acceptance across the country.

“On behalf of the good people of Lagelu Local Government, I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, on his emergence as the APM presidential candidate. This is a call to service at the national level, and we are confident that the same magic he has performed in Oyo State will be replicated for the benefit of all Nigerians,” the statement added.

Hon. Kamorudeen assured the governor of the continued support and prayers of the people of Lagelu as he steps into the national arena, praying for divine guidance and success in all his endeavours.
