
The Oyo State Supervisors’ Forum has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of his seventh anniversary in office, describing his administration as one driven by visionary leadership, infrastructural transformation, and people-oriented governance.
In a congratulatory statement jointly signed by the Forum Coordinator, Alarape Kabeer Imam, and the Secretary, Azeez Waheed Emiloju, the Forum commended Governor Makinde for the remarkable strides he has recorded across critical sectors of the state’s economy since assuming office.
The Forum noted that the governor’s administration has continued to prioritize good governance, transparency, accountability, and sustainable development, adding that his leadership style has restored public confidence in governance and strengthened democratic values across the state.
According to the statement, the achievements recorded in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, agriculture, and workers’ welfare have positioned Oyo State as one of the fastest-growing states in Nigeria.
The Supervisors’ Forum further lauded Governor Makinde for creating an enabling environment for political inclusiveness and grassroots development, stressing that local government administration in the state has witnessed significant improvement under his leadership.
“Over the past seven years, Governor Seyi Makinde has demonstrated an uncommon commitment to the growth and development of Oyo State. His administration has remained focused on delivering dividends of democracy to the people while maintaining peace, stability, and progress across the state,” the statement read.
The Forum also appreciated the governor for his continuous support for political office holders and party faithful at the grassroots level, noting that his administration has consistently promoted unity and cooperation among stakeholders in the state.
While praying for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for the governor, the Forum reaffirmed its support and loyalty to the Makinde-led administration and pledged continued commitment towards the progress and development of Oyo State.
The group urged residents of the state to continue supporting the governor’s vision and policies, which aim to build a prosperous and sustainable future for all citizens.
