The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development has directed all applicants for the 3rd Assembly of the Oyo State Youth Parliament to submit hard copies of their applications, stating that only physical submissions will be considered valid for the selection process.

In a public notice issued through the Head of Media Unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, the Agency Chairman, Adebowale, clarified that candidates who previously completed their registration online are required to print out their application forms and submit the documents to the Office of the Chairman, Oyo State Agency for Youth Development.

The directive, according to the Agency, is aimed at ensuring proper documentation, verification, and administrative efficiency in the screening of prospective youth parliamentarians.

Applicants have been urged to comply strictly with the submission guidelines to avoid disqualification. The Agency emphasized that failure to present hard copies within the stipulated timeframe will render such applications invalid.

The deadline for submission has been fixed for Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

The Oyo State Youth Parliament serves as a platform for young people to engage in legislative simulation, leadership development, and active participation in governance, reflecting the state government’s continued commitment to youth inclusion and empowerment.
