Hon. Ogundare Abideen Adeoye, the lawmaker representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has dismissed reports linking him to an alleged plot to impeach Governor Seyi Makinde, describing the claims as baseless and misleading.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen on Tuesday, the legislator said his attention had been drawn to circulating rumours suggesting his involvement in moves to destabilise the state government.
He, however, categorically denied any participation in such actions.

Hon. Ogundare stressed that he remains fully committed to the administration of Governor Makinde, reaffirming his “unwavering and undiluted loyalty” to the governor’s leadership.

He commended the governor for what he described as visionary leadership and sustained efforts toward good governance, noting that the administration has recorded significant developmental strides across Oyo State.

The lawmaker further urged members of the public and political stakeholders to disregard the allegations, which he said were aimed at creating unnecessary tension and diverting attention from ongoing progress in the state.
Reiterating his commitment to his constituents, Hon. Ogundare pledged continued support for policies and programmes that promote peace, stability and sustainable development in Oyo State, while assuring his readiness to work collaboratively with the Makinde-led administration for the overall growth and prosperity of the state.
