Hon. Saheed Abimbola Oladimeji, popularly known as Owonifaari, has extended warm greetings to residents of Ibadan South-East Local Government Area as they usher in the new month of April.
In a goodwill message made available to journalists on Tuesday, the chieftain congratulated the people on the grace to witness a new month, describing April as another opportunity for renewed hope, growth, and collective progress.
Owonifaari expressed appreciation to the residents for their continued support, resilience, and commitment to community development, noting that their cooperation remains vital to achieving meaningful progress at the grassroots level.
He urged the people of Ibadan South-East to embrace the new month with optimism and a stronger sense of unity, adding that sustainable development can only be achieved through peaceful coexistence and active civic participation.
“As we step into the month of April, I encourage every resident to remain steadfast, hopeful, and committed to the ideals of peace, progress, and development. Together, we can build a more prosperous and inclusive society,” he stated.
The aspirant further reassured constituents of his unwavering dedication to people-oriented initiatives, promising to continue advocating for policies and programmes that will enhance the welfare and socio-economic development of the area.
He also called on youths and stakeholders within the local government to remain proactive and engaged in activities that promote growth, innovation, and communal harmony.
