The Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has extended warm congratulations to President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as the undisputed pillar of progressive politics and a defining force in Nigeria’s democratic journey.

In a strongly worded message made available to the press, Chief Sanusi praised President Tinubu as a battle-tested democrat, master strategist, and nation-builder whose legacy continues to shape the political and economic direction of Nigeria.

Chief Sanusi stated that President Tinubu’s leadership represents courage under pressure, vision in times of uncertainty, and decisive action in the face of national challenges, noting that history will record him as one of the most consequential leaders of modern Nigeria.

He said:

“Today, we do not only celebrate the birth of a man; we celebrate the rise of a political institution, a symbol of resilience, and a leader whose impact has redefined governance and leadership in Nigeria.

On behalf of my family, political structure, associates, and millions of progressive-minded Nigerians, I salute our father and President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at 74.

His courage to take bold and necessary decisions, his unmatched ability to build leaders, and his unwavering commitment to national development distinguish him as a rare statesman in our time.

As he advances in age and strength, I pray for greater wisdom, divine protection, and renewed vigor to continue leading Nigeria to stability, prosperity, and global relevance.”

Chief Sanusi emphasized that this milestone is not merely ceremonial but a defining political moment, calling on all loyalists, progressives, and patriots across Nigeria—especially in the South-West—to close ranks and intensify grassroots mobilization in support of President Tinubu’s second-term bid in 2027.

He declared unequivocally that the re-election of President Tinubu is not just a political ambition, but a national necessity aimed at consolidating ongoing reforms, stabilizing governance, and securing Nigeria’s future.

The Ibadan-born political mobilizer stressed that his vast grassroots network, strong youth base, and pan-Yoruba influence remain formidable instruments that will be fully deployed to ensure overwhelming support for President Tinubu across Oyo State, the South-West, and beyond.

Chief Sanusi further noted that Nigeria cannot afford a reversal of progress, insisting that continuity in leadership is critical to sustaining economic reforms, strengthening institutions, and preserving national unity.

He reaffirmed his total commitment to building a formidable political structure, forging strategic alliances, and galvanizing stakeholders at all levels to deliver a resounding victory for President Tinubu in 2027.

“Those who understand the trajectory of this nation know that stability is not accidental—it is built on tested leadership. President Tinubu has earned the trust of Nigerians, and that trust must be renewed and reinforced at the polls,” he added.

As President Tinubu marks his 74th birthday, Chief Sanusi called on Nigerians to rally behind him with renewed faith, prayers, and unwavering support, stressing that the task of building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria must continue without interruption.
