The Chairman of Platinum Group Nigeria and Diaspora, Deji Onifade, has extended warm felicitations to Chief Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe on the occasion of his 60th birthday, describing him as a distinguished technocrat and a pillar of national development.

Onifade, in a congratulatory message made available to journalists, praised Tegbe’s remarkable contributions to public service, particularly his recent appointment as Chairman of the National Tax Policy Implementation Committee (NTPIC), a body tasked with driving critical fiscal reforms in Nigeria.

He noted that Tegbe’s wealth of experience in taxation, finance, and governance has positioned him as a credible leader capable of steering the committee towards achieving its mandate of enhancing Nigeria’s tax administration framework.

The Platinum Group Chairman further highlighted Tegbe’s professional accomplishments as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCIT), emphasizing that his expertise has consistently been deployed for national growth.

According to Onifade, Tegbe’s career trajectory reflects a blend of competence, integrity, and visionary leadership, which has earned him recognition both within Nigeria and in the international community.

He also referenced Tegbe’s conferment with the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) as a testament to his enduring contributions to the country’s economic and institutional development.

Beyond his professional life, Onifade described Tegbe as a committed community leader and proud Ibadan indigene, who holds the revered traditional title of Mogaji, symbolizing his deep-rooted connection to his heritage.

He added that Tegbe’s previous roles, including serving as Director General of the Nigeria Promotion Council and his aspirations in both governorship and senatorial contests, underscore his dedication to public service and democratic participation.

Onifade commended Tegbe’s consistency in championing policies that promote economic sustainability, fiscal responsibility, and inclusive growth across different sectors.

He expressed confidence that Tegbe would continue to make meaningful impacts in his current national assignment, bringing innovation and strategic direction to Nigeria’s tax policy implementation efforts.

While wishing him continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments, Onifade urged younger professionals to emulate Tegbe’s discipline, resilience, and commitment to excellence as exemplified in his six decades of impactful living.
