Hon. Saheed Oladimeji Owonifaari, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, particularly to residents of Ibadan South-East Local Government, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, the lawmaker described Eid al-Fitr as a significant period that symbolizes sacrifice, devotion, and spiritual rejuvenation.
He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the fasting, prayers, and charitable acts observed during Ramadan, rewarding the faithful abundantly.
Hon. Saheed emphasized the importance of sustaining the virtues cultivated during the fasting period, urging residents to continue embracing love, unity, and compassion in their daily interactions. According to him, these values are essential for fostering peaceful coexistence and community development.
He further called on the people to remember the less privileged during the festivities, encouraging acts of kindness, generosity, and support as reflections of true faith and humanity.
