Oyo State G-22 Forum Kickstarts Aggressive Party Mobilization, Reposes Confidence in Makinde’s Leadership and Administration

The Forum of immediate Past Party Chairmen of the Local Governments in Oyo State held its monthly meeting yesterday at SAO Hotel, Oyo Town to Forster unity and peace among members of the party in the State.

The Forum tagged G-22, unanimously resolved to join hands with the State Executive of the Party and their various Local Governments. The former Chairmen emphasized that, the recent developments on the defection of some members is a concern to us and we have set to reach out to some aggreived members in our various Local Governments.

The Forum is ready to work collaboratively with the State Leadership of the Party and Major Stakeholders at the Local Government Levels to ensure the unity and overall peace within the Party is sustained.

The G-22 reposed their total confidence in the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde and described him as a God’s sent man to Oyo State.

In a release statement after the meeting, the Forum Congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde for the recent commissioning of the State Party Secretariat donated for the good use and growth of the Party.
In the same vein, we also congratulated the State Party Chairman, State Deputy Chairman, State Secretary and the entire Executive Members for the landslide achievement.

The Forum urge all faithful members of the party not to be distracted and ensure that, they remain firm in their commitment to the party.
