The Special Assistant to the Governor on Oyo Federal Constituency Matters (GLO), Akin Alawode, has firmly reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty and commitment to Seyi Makinde, Monsurat Sunmonu, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), describing his allegiance as “resolute and non-negotiable.”

In a statement issued on Monday, Alawode restated his full solidarity with the PDP and expressed unflinching support for the leadership of Governor Makinde, whom he praised for compassion, competence, and courage in steering the affairs of Oyo State with vision and integrity.

“I proudly restate my full solidarity with our great party, the PDP, and my unshakable support for Governor Seyi Makinde, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, and all our dedicated leaders who continue to sacrifice for the collective good of our people,” Alawode said.

He emphasized his belief in the governor’s leadership style and pledged to continue speaking positively about the party while fostering unity, discipline, and responsibility among members. According to him, strengthening internal cohesion remains critical to sustaining the party’s developmental strides and delivering people-centred governance.

Alawode further assured party leaders and faithfuls of his continued service, noting that he would devote his time, voice, and resources to promoting harmony within the party and advancing peace, progress, and prosperity across communities.

Calling for resilience and collective focus, he urged members to remain united in pursuit of meaningful development and lasting impact.
“PDP is the vehicle.

GSM is the driver.
Together, we shall arrive safely,” he concluded.

E-Signed:
Akin Alawode
