Today, with a heart full of gratitude and reverence, I celebrate an extraordinary leader, mentor, and father—Dr. Oladayo Ogunbowale, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Communications.
Sir, words truly fail me.
You have been more than a boss or a public figure to me; you have been a father in every sense, a mentor who believed in me when I was still finding my feet, and a guardian angel God strategically placed in my life. You gave me platforms, opportunities, and access I could only have prayed for. Honestly, I often ask myself: what would I have done without you?
You didn’t just open doors—you stayed back to ensure I was well trained, well guided, and properly prepared for the future and for the next generation. You were intentional about my growth, deliberate about my development, and committed to my success. That kind of mentorship is rare.
On this special day, I give all glory to God for your life—thankful for His grace, His protection, and His mercy upon you. Thankful that He has kept you alive, strong, and impactful to witness another birthday. Your life is a blessing not just to me, but to everyone privileged to work with or learn from you.
Thank you for being there.
Thank you for always being there.
Thank you for all that you do—and all that you continue to do.
May God bless you abundantly, sir. May He renew your strength, enlarge your coast, and reward you openly for every seed you have sown in my life and in the lives of many others.
Happy Birthday, sir.
With utmost respect and eternal gratitude,
