Former Deputy Governor and PDP Governorship leading Aspirant in Oyo State, His Excellency Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of New Year and urge them to imbible the spirit of tolerance, understanding, hard work,and sincerity in all their dealings

In a statement signed and made available to the Pressmen in Ibadan by his Spokesman, Hon. Olaniyi Steven, Gbolarumi ‎ asked Nigerians to see 2026 as a year of blessing and one full with bountiful opportunities for the country.

He equally urged for prayers for the nation to overcome its current security challenges, disclosing that the nation would only attain its full potential in an environment that is peaceful.

Gbolarumi appealed to politicians and the followers to play by the rules of the game, cautioned against provocative utterances and to eschew violence, stating that the nation and not personal interest should come first in the minds of Nigerians.

He lauded citizens of the state for their support, patience and show of understanding despite the current situation of the Country, he solicited more of such support to the government, urged the people of Oyo state to be watchful, and to remain vigilant at all times especially in view of the need for citizens to be security conscious.

He prayed for a prosperous 2026 for the nation nigeria, Oyo State in particular, maintaining that he is optimistic that the country and the state would attain its full potential to meet the yearning and aspirations of the people.

Gbolarumi urges Nigerians to continue to support and pray for the success of our governments in all levels,
irrespective of their religion and political affiliations, and to use this period to pray for Nigeria in order to overcome the current insecurity and economic challenges bewildered by the country. “As we step into the New Year, may it usher in success, peace, good health, and prosperity for every family. This new chapter offers another opportunity to strengthen our unity, deepen our resolve, and work together for the continued growth and development of our communities and nation”, he said.
