2026: Hon. Comforter Extends Heartfelt New Year Greetings to Makinde, Constituents

The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide has extended warm and heartfelt New Year greetings to people across the world as the year 2026 dawns, expressing gratitude to Almighty God for the gift of life and the opportunity to witness another promising year.

In her New Year message made available to the press, Hon. Comforter described the season as one of renewed hope, fresh beginnings, and collective responsibility, calling on citizens to embrace unity, love, and peaceful coexistence regardless of differences.

She urged everyone to remain steadfast in faith, positive in outlook, and committed to building a peaceful and progressive society.

She specially congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, and the resilient people of Oyo State on the successful arrival of the New Year, commending their continuous support, patience, and commitment to good governance and sustainable development.

Hon. Comforter also expressed her delight and deep appreciation to all inhabitants of Ibadan North Local Government, particularly the good people of Ibadan North Constituency I, for their unwavering support and cooperation.

She reassured them of her renewed commitment to continue delivering more dividends of democracy directly to their doorsteps through responsive representation, people-oriented initiatives, and effective legislation.

The lawmaker emphasized the importance of compassion, tolerance, and service to humanity, noting that meaningful development can only be achieved when people work together in unity and harmony.

She further prayed for divine guidance, protection, and prosperity in 2026, asking God to grant good health, wisdom, and success to individuals, leaders, and institutions across the state, the nation, and the world at large.

Hon. Comforter concluded by wishing everyone a peaceful, joyful, and fulfilling New Year, reaffirming her dedication to selfless service, inclusive leadership, and the overall well-being of her constituents.
