At this point, it is no longer a rumour that Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK) is running for the governorship seat of Oyo State under the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2027. But beyond the declaration, one truth must be emphasized: Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem is not just another name in the race — he is a proven agent of positive change, development, and leadership grounded in results.

For over 25 years, he has dedicated his life to shaping futures through education, leadership, and humanitarian service — not only in Nigeria, but across the United Kingdom and Australia. As a seasoned and certified educator with extensive global experience, Dr. Kareem has taught Mathematics at top institutions, trained teachers, and contributed significantly to advancing modern classroom strategies, behaviour management, and curriculum development.

His academic background speaks for itself — a PhD in Mathematics Education, a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management, and a teaching qualification from the prestigious University of Strathclyde, Scotland. He continues to teach within the Department of Education in New South Wales, Australia, maintaining excellence, accountability, and passion for education.

But Dr. Kareem is far more than an academic. He is a respected Islamic scholar, community leader, and philanthropist. As the First Fakhar Soliheen of Oyo State and Chief Imam of Wabillahi Taofeeq Islamic Mission Worldwide, he has touched lives spiritually, morally, and socially, publishing numerous works and driving many outreach programmes.

His humanitarian footprint is visible and undeniable. Through his vision and passion, he established:

  • The Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK) House, a multi-million-naira hub dedicated to youth empowerment, women development, ICT and digital literacy, elderly support, agricultural assistance, disability support, and accessible healthcare.
  • Attaofeequ Billahi (AB) Farm Limited, advancing agricultural innovation.
  • Attaofeequ Billahi International School (ABIS) and Australian Boiling Point International School, providing world-class education rooted in values.

AKK! Aseyori ni tiwa.
AKK! Ajose Ajoje.
AKK! A task that must be done.
