In furtherance of his inclusive leadership vision and commitment to collective progress in Oyo State, the 2027 Oyo APC Gubernatorial Aspirant, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK) has inaugurated the Central Planning Committee for the upcoming Oyo State Edition of the AKK Town Hall Meeting, Book Launch, and Fundraising Event, scheduled to hold at AKK House, Ibadan, on Saturday, 10th January 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

The inauguration, held over the weekend, marks another milestone in Dr. Kareem’s effort to engage with stakeholders and mobilize community participation as part of his broader preparation for Aseyori Oyo 2027.

In his address, Dr. Kareem emphasized that building a prosperous Oyo State requires unity, dedication, and a shared sense of purpose from all citizens.

“This project is not about AKK alone,” he stated. “It is about every son and daughter of Oyo State who believes in progress, accountability, and service to humanity. I cannot do it alone. The success of our collective vision depends on everyone’s support and participation.”

Dr. Kareem explained that the Town Hall Meeting will provide an opportunity for open dialogue and feedback between citizens and leaders, while the Book Launch of “Our Realistic Tomorrow” will showcase a blueprint for good governance and developmental transformation in Oyo State. The Fundraising Segment of the event will support ongoing community initiatives and empowerment programs under the AKK Vision Project.

Speaking on behalf of the committee, the Chairperson, Hon. Sunday Ademoroti, expressed appreciation to Dr. Kareem for his trust in the committee’s capacity to deliver a successful and impactful event.

“We are honoured to serve in this capacity,” Hon. Ademoroti said. “Dr. AKK’s vision for Oyo State is rooted in inclusiveness, empowerment, and sustainable development. The committee is fully committed to ensuring the success of this event and advancing that noble vision.”

Also speaking, the Committee Secretary, Hon. Falowo Aduragbemi, reaffirmed the team’s readiness to work tirelessly toward the event’s success and mobilize support from across all local government areas.

“The forthcoming Town Hall Meeting and Book Launch will not only reflect AKK’s leadership ideals but also strengthen the bond between the people and their aspirations for a greater Oyo,” Hon. Aduragbemi stated.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Kareem reiterated his message of collective responsibility and unity, urging all supporters and well-meaning citizens to take ownership of the movement toward Oyo’s renewal.

“Everyone has a role to play — in planning, in contributing, and in spreading the message of hope. The journey to Aseyori Oyo 2027 is a collective one, and together, we will make it a success.”

Dr. Kareem also encouraged individuals who wish to serve or contribute to the planning process to formally indicate their interest.

“Anyone interested in being part of the committee or contributing to the preparation for the event should kindly contact the Committee Chairman, Hon. Sunday Ademoroti, or the Secretary, Hon. Falowo Aduragbemi,” he added.
