As Nigeria celebrates National Youth Day 2025, the Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has commended the resilience, innovation, and determination of young people across the state, describing them as the true engine of progress driving Oyo’s development agenda.
In a goodwill message released by the Head of Media Unit to the Chairman Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, marking the occasion, Hon. Adebowale praised Oyo youths for their creativity and commitment to excellence in diverse fields including technology, entrepreneurship, entertainment, and community development.
He reaffirmed the Agency’s continued dedication to creating platforms and opportunities that empower young people to reach their full potential and compete globally.
“Our youths remain the heartbeat of the state’s growth and transformation. At the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, we are committed to unlocking their potential through skills development, innovation, and strategic partnerships that prepare them for leadership in a dynamic world,” Adebowale stated.
The father of the youth in the State, His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde has been the cornerstone of youth progress, creativity in displaying their full potential across all sectors, urging them to stay inspired, focused, and dedicated to excellence.
He further encouraged youths to remain steadfast, responsible, and visionary in their pursuits, assuring them of the government’s unwavering support in creating an enabling environment for success.
Hon. Adebowale concluded by celebrating all Pacesetter youths, urging them to keep up their positive contributions to the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
