The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chapter in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State has extended its warm congratulations to the newly elected State Executive Committee of the party, following the successful conclusion of the PDP State Congress held in Ibadan.

In a statement released and made available to newsmen by the party Secretary, Abiodun Fadeyibi, the party hailed the congress as a peaceful and transparent exercise that reflects the internal democratic strength of the PDP in Oyo State.
The local chapter commended the delegates, stakeholders, and party faithful for their orderly conduct and commitment to the ideals of democracy.

“We heartily congratulate the newly elected PDP State Excos, led by Ogungbenro on their well-deserved victory, saying their emergence at the just-concluded congress is a testament to their dedication, competence, and the confidence reposed in them by the party’s grassroots,” the statement said.



Ido chapter of the People’s Democratic Party applauded the leadership of His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde for his sustainable development legacy as well as the hitch-free and peaceful State Congress.
The Ido LG PDP further pledged its full support for the new leadership, expressing optimism that the new state executives will consolidate on the achievements of their predecessors and steer the party toward greater unity and electoral success ahead of future polls.

However, the party commended Otunba Seye Famojuro for promoting good governance in Pacesetter.
The statement also appreciated the outgoing executives for their service, and called on all members of the party to rally behind the new leadership for the continued progress of the PDP in Oyo State.
“We urge all party members across the 33 local government areas to unite and work collaboratively with the new Excos to build a stronger, more formidable PDP that will continue to deliver good governance to the people of Oyo State,” it added.
The newly elected State Excos are expected to be officially inaugurated in the coming days, marking a new chapter in the leadership of the PDP in the state.
