The Secretary of Oyo West Local Government, Ojongbodu, Oyo, Hon. Mrs. Adekambi Adepeju Folashade, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected executives of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), following the successful conduct of the party congress across the state during the weekend.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen on Monday, Hon. Adepeju commended the peaceful and transparent nature of the congress, describing it as a testament to the growing maturity and internal democracy within the party.
She lauded the efforts of the party’s leadership at all levels for ensuring a credible and inclusive electoral process, noting that the emergence of new executives represents a significant step toward strengthening the party’s grassroots structures.
According to her; “I sincerely congratulate all the newly elected party executives in Oyo West and across the state. Your emergence is not just a vote of confidence, but also a call to dedicated service and commitment to our party’s ideals”.
She further urged the new officers to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and accountability in their respective roles, emphasizing the need for collaborative leadership as preparations begin for upcoming electoral cycles.
Hon. Adepeju reaffirmed her support for the new leadership and expressed optimism that the incoming executives would work diligently to consolidate the party’s growing influence in Oyo State.
