The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Mawlud, which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In his message made available through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade described the celebration as a moment of deep reflection on the exemplary life, virtues, and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, who epitomized peace, compassion, justice, and devotion to Allah.

He called on Muslims in Ibadan North, Oyo State, and across Nigeria to emulate the Prophet’s values of tolerance, humility, and love for humanity, stressing that such virtues remain essential for promoting unity and peaceful coexistence in the country.

“As we mark this year’s Eid-el-Mawlud, let us rededicate ourselves to the ideals of the Holy Prophet by living lives of service, kindness, and piety.

Our strength as a people lies in our unity and commitment to peace,” Hon. Olufade said.

The Council boss further prayed for continuous blessings upon Ibadan North and Oyo State under the purposeful leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, while urging residents to keep supporting government’s developmental agenda.

He wished all Muslims a joyous and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Mawlud celebration.

Signed,
Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola
