
A Mack trailer tanker loaded with twenty-six (26) Tons capacity of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has tumbled in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

Heritage Echo gathered that the incident occurred under the bridge, Gurumaraji Area, Lagos/Ibadan Express Way, Ibadan.
It was a MACK trailer tanker with registration number T25163LA (Lagos) loaded with twenty-six (26) tons of capacity of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) swerved and fell on an open road.


No casualty was recorded and the tanker was safe. Normal vehicular movement has been restored.



Special Adviser to the Governor on Fire Service Reform/Agency Chairman Hon Moroof Adebayo Akinwande confirmed the incident in our correspondence.
Akinwande said; “The emergency call was reported at exactly 08:56hrs on Monday 25th August, 2025 through telephone call and DPO Tollgate Police Division to trailer tanker accident under bridge, Gurumaraji Area, Lagos/Ibadan Express Way, Ibadan.

“The Firemen, led by ACFS Bamidele Samsudeen, promptly responded and deployed to the scene of the incident, and upon arrival, it was a MACK trailer tanker regd. No T25163LA (Lagos) loaded with twenty-six (26) tons capacity of Liquified Petroleum Gas(LPG) swerved and fell on an open road.
However, the officers of the Agency quickly swung into action by engaging the necessary equipment to calm the situation and prevent the tanker from exploding.
No casualty was recorded and the tanker was safe.
Normal vehicular movement has been restored.
