The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), has felicitated Muslims across the nation on the occasion of this year’s Eid-Al-Aha celebrations.

Agboworin, in a statement through his Special Assistant on Media, Aremu Ibraheem, urged the people of his constituency, Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria at large to pray for the country, particular the leaders towards a brighter future for our nation.

He also implored citizens to imbibe the spirit of love and sacrifice, which is one of the main hallmarks of the Eid-Al-Aha celebrations.

While extending his greetings to his constituents, Agboworin called for personal and collective sacrifices for the nation towards its development, growth and prosperity.

“This is a period to remain commitment to the worship of Allah (SWT), and following the doings of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) in unity to prosper Nigerians.

“Nigerians needs to be prayerful, dedication, sharing love and making sacrifices among one another to overcome our challenges as a nation,” he briefed.

The lawmaker wished his constituents, Ibadanland, Oyo state and all Nigerians, particularly the Muslims, a happy and blessed Eid-Al-Aha.

He prayed that the celebration brings joy, peace and prosperity to the good people of Oyo State under the administration of his leader and Southwest PDP leader, His Excellency Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde (FNSE, DSC, GSSRS, and serves as a catalyst for positive growth and a better nation in the years ahead.

Happy Eid-Al-Aha!
