The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on the second anniversary of his second term in office as Governor of Oyo State.
In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday, May 28, Hon. Adeojo hailed Governor Makinde for what he described as “another year of visionary and impactful leadership,” noting that the Governor’s administration has continued to deliver meaningful development across all sectors of the state.

“Governor Seyi Makinde has shown once again that good governance is possible. His commitment to inclusive development and grassroots empowerment remains unmatched,” Adeojo stated.

He particularly commended the Governor for approving the total rehabilitation of the 48-kilometer Ido–Eruwa Road, a key infrastructure project that has long been anticipated by residents and commuters in the area. According to Adeojo, the project will not only ease transportation but also open up economic opportunities for the people of Ido and surrounding communities.

“This road project is a major milestone for our people. It will boost trade, improve access to farmlands, and enhance the general well-being of our communities,” he added.
The Ido LG chairman also appreciated Governor Makinde for his administration’s efforts in boosting the local economy and for prioritizing the health sector. He noted that the state’s ongoing free medical outreach, which is expected to benefit residents of Ido soon, is a clear example of the Governor’s people-focused policies.

“Our people are eager to benefit from the free medical outreach. It is a timely initiative that will address pressing healthcare needs at the grassroots level,” Adeojo said.
He concluded by reaffirming his full support for the Governor’s administration and pledged continued collaboration to ensure that the people of Ido Local Government continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
