Happy Children’s Day!
Today, we celebrate the purest treasures of our land — our children. On this joyful occasion of May 27th, I, Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, extend my warmest wishes to all children in Ibadan North Local Government, across Oyo State, and around the world.

You are the joy of today and the hope of tomorrow. You carry the dreams of generations and the strength of our future. May you all continue to grow in wisdom, good health, and happiness. May your dreams soar beyond limits, and may your lives be filled with love and light.

As a proud mother, advocate, and the Founder of The COMFORTER’S FOUNDATION, I hold a deep love for every child. I appeal to all parents and guardians: never to relent in nurturing and educating your children. With the support of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, who has made education free across our dear Pacesetter State, every child deserves a fair chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

Let us remember — children are not just our tomorrow; they are our today. Every kind words, every opportunity, every act of care shapes a brighter future for us all. Let us raise them with love, guide them with wisdom, and protect their rights without compromise.

As we celebrate, I pray:
May our children always have reasons to smile. May they live long, purposeful lives, and may no sorrow befall us concerning them.

Happy Children’s Day, my dear children — you are deeply loved and endlessly cherished.

E-signed:
Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide
Member, Oyo State House of Assembly. Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs and Community Development
