Barr. Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has extended his congratulations to Chief Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin on his recent elevation and installation as the Aare Alaasa Olubadan of Ibadanland by the Olubadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin.
Senator Folarin, who formerly held the title of Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadanland, was recently installed in the new traditional capacity in line with the customs and chieftaincy arrangements of the Ibadan traditional council.
In a statement issued to the public, Barr Agbaje acknowledged the significance of the honour and commended the traditional institution for upholding established procedures in its recognition of deserving individuals.
“The Aare Alaasa title carries a weight of cultural and historical relevance in the traditional structure of Ibadanland. I congratulate Senator Folarin and wish him clarity of purpose and strength in this new responsibility.”
