The Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing the good people of Atiba State Constituency, Hon. Gbenga Joseph Oyekola has sent warm Easter greetings to all Christian faithful across his Constituents, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.

In a statement released and made available to newsmen on Monday morning, the lawmaker described Easter as a sacred period that calls for deep reflection, spiritual renewal, forgiveness as demonstrated by Jesus Christ, and the sincere practice of love and sacrifice.

According to him, “If we genuinely love one another, we will see beyond our differences, be it political, ethnic, or religious, and focus on building our communities together with unique love, forgiveness,, and transformation.”

The two-term lawmaker further urged Christians to use the season to pray for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Atiba State Constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.

He appealed to everyone to imbibe the spirit of humility, tolerance, and selflessness, especially in these trying times.

May the resurrection of Christ renew our hope, strengthen our bonds, and ignite our collective will to work for a better tomorrow.

Wishing all Christians a joyful and fulfilling Easter celebration, Oyekola prayed.

E-Signed:
Hon. Gbenga Joseph Oyekola,
Chief Whip of the 10th Assembly, representing the good people of Atiba State Constituency.
