The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Barr. Bayo Lawal, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday
In statement signed by his Media Group on Monday in Ibadan, which was made available to journalists, the lawmaker described him as a humble and worthy leader who has displayed a quality leadership trait as exemplified in his joint push to transform Oyo state for the better.
The two term lawmaker and Chairman, House Committee on Narcotics Drugs, commended his joint contributions to the incredible achievements which the administration of Engr. Seyi Makinde has recorded in the last few years.
While affirming his faith in him to continue to be of service to the people, Agboworin prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow on him good health, long life and enduring grace to make more impacts in Oyo State and beyond.
The statement read, “Today, I am thrilled to celebrate my political father, intelligent, hardworking and exceptional deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Barr. Bayo Lawal, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.
“I appreciate his quality leadership acumen. Based on what I know and the experience I have had with him in the past and present time, I can say that his harmonious relationship with the governor has carved a niche for him in the political space in Oyo State.
“Baba is a man who has the fear of God. He has shown a great deal of loyalty to the governor. He is very humble, loyal and dedicated to the governor’s cause.
“I am always at ease knowing that he is beside the governor of the state in the arduous task of making this state a better place in the last few years of the current administration in Oyo State.
“He has displayed true sense of purpose and zeal towards the delivery of good governance. I am proud of the great things he has been able to accomplish together with the state Governor. And I have no doubt that he would go on to achieve even more in the future.”
