Barr Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has expressed his condolences on the passing of Chief Yekini Adeojo, a prominent politician and elder statesman in Oyo State.

In a statement, Agbaje described Chief Adeojo’s death as a significant loss to the state and the nation, acknowledging his contributions to politics and community development.

“Chief Yekini Adeojo was a distinguished leader whose dedication to the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria was evident throughout his life. His passing is a great loss to the State and the country.”

He extended his sympathies to the Adeojo family, friends, and associates, praying for comfort during this difficult time.

“May Almighty Allah grant the family the strength to bear this loss and grant the departed Aljannah Firdaus,” he added.

Chief Adeojo, who passed away on Friday morning in Ibadan, was a former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland. He was also the PDP governorship candidate in Oyo State during the 1999 elections.
