The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency of Oyo State, Agboworin, has mourned the death of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Yekini Ayoade Adeojo.

In a statement signed by his Media Group in Ibadan on Friday, Agboworin described Pa Adeojo as a courageous politician whose passing leaves a void in the nation’s political fabric.

The lawmaker, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Narcotics Drugs, expressed his condolences to the family of Pa Adeojo and the PDP family in Oyo State.

While praying to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the exit of their patriarch, Agboworin maintained that the late politician’s impact in the political terrain in Oyo State will undoubtedly be felt for generations to come.

The statement read, “I feel shocked on the demise of Pa Adeojo was a courageous politician. We will sorely miss him.

“I want to use this opportunity to condole with the family of Alhaji Adeojo, the PDP in Oyo State and the good people of the state over the demise of a patriotic Nigerian.

“I had my first job under his company here in Ibadan right about in 1988/89 called ‘Yanaty Flour Mills’. Alhaji was a good leader and disciplinarian. And we all loved him for that.

“It is my prayer that God will grant repose to his soul, grant him Aljanah Firdaus and uphold the family he left behind.”
