The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government and Baba Isale Musulumi of Oluyole LG, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has expressed felicitations to all Muslim faithful in the Council and Oyo state at large.

The Council boss stated this in a felicitation message on Saturday, March 1 through his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Qudus Omoola.

In his message, Asiwaju Olatunji described Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and renewed devotion to Allah.

He urged Muslims in the LG and the state to use the holy month to strengthen their faith, practice kindness, and promote unity within the community.

In his words: “Ramadan is not just about fasting; it is a time to purify our hearts, seek Allah’s mercy, and extend love to those in need.

“As we observe this holy month, let us embody the values of peace, compassion, and selflessness, which are the core teachings of Islam.”

He further emphasized the importance of prayers for the nation’s progress, community development, and continued prosperity in Oluyole Local Government.

While acknowledging the economic challenges facing the country, Olatunji encouraged Muslims to remain steadfast in their faith, trust in Allah’s divine provisions, and continue supporting one another in the spirit of brotherhood.

“As the Baba Isale Musulumi of Oluyole LG, I pray that this Ramadan brings abundant blessings, divine mercy, and answered prayers to every home. May Allah grant us the strength to fulfill our religious obligations and reward us bountifully,” he concluded.

He wished all Muslims a peaceful and fulfilling Ramadan, urging them to uphold the virtues of patience, generosity, and piety throughout the holy month.
