AKK is a gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State in 2027.

Women have been present at every cause of transformative change throughout human history. They have served as grassroots mobilisers, champions of social justice, and architects of a more equitable society. I see their commitment in the cause of politics as truly unwavering, something that inspires generations to strive for a better world.

We have the suffragettes who fought tirelessly for women’s right to vote, and even the countless women who continue to push the boundaries of political engagement – their contributions have been nothing short of remarkable.

One of the most striking aspects of women’s participation in politics that I’ve grown to understand is their ability to rally together in support of a common cause. Whether it’s advocating for reproductive rights, fighting against gender-based violence, or promoting economic empowerment, women have consistently demonstrated their capacity for collective action and mobilisation.

This is particularly evident in the context of grassroots movements, where women have played sensitive roles in reshaping the narrative and driving social change. History has shown that women are not easily deterred, and their commitment to a cause is unrelenting, and that makes them a formidable force in the pursuit of social justice.

Also, women’s participation in politics has been instrumental in promoting diversity, inclusion, and representation, which ultimately leads to more greater societies.

As the largest population in the world, women’s commitment to ideal causes is crucial in shaping the trajectory of political discourse. It is essential that their input is valued and their sacrifices are recognised.

In this spirit, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the Women Wing of Aseyori Support Group (ASG) for their tireless efforts in promoting the AKK Oyo State Project. Their energy, passion, and dedication affirm the power of women’s political engagement.

The Women Wing of ASG has demonstrated exceptional leadership, they mobilise resources, and built coalitions to drive the AKK Project forward.

The Women Wing of ASG has been instrumental in driving the AKK Project forward, consistently holding monthly meetings to discuss, engage, and ruminate on strategies for advancement. I see their belief in my vision for Oyo State as a source of inspiration, and I am deeply grateful for their support.

As a token of appreciation, I recently distributed raw food items to the members to acknowledge their sacrifices, courage, and dedication. This gesture is to reiterate the value I place on their contributions and the impact they have on the AKK Project.

We shall keep moving forward, and I remain committed to supporting the Women Wing of ASG to further amplify their voices. I firmly believe in their capacity for mobilisation and their ability to push the narrative of AKK for a better Oyo State.

We are on the route to birth a future that is built on the principles of justice, equality, and prosperity.

To the women of ASG, I offer my sincerest appreciation and assurance that our collective efforts will yield a mouthwatering impact, not just in our lifetime, but for your children and the generations to come.
