…..as Elegant dedicate the award to Ido Council Chairman, Hon Sheriff Adeojo’s democratic dividends.
In a heartwarming recognition of outstanding performance and community development, the Supervisory Councilor for Works in Ido local government areas, Hon. Adedamola Olajide Elegant has bagged a prestigious award of excellence from Elenusonso Community.
It could be recalled that the Ido local government executive cabinet member over the year championed the cause of community growth and development by sponsoring inter-community football Competitions and distributing free exercise books to the Public Primary School Pupils as well as several others.
The Elenusonso Community Award of Excellence is one of the most prestigious awards in the community, and it is given annually to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and service to the community, was presented to Hon. Adedamola Elegant at a ceremony held at the community center on Wednesday.
In his address, the Baale of Elenusonso Community, Chief Asimiyu Akorede (JP) Orowole II, praised Adedamola Elegant for his selfless service to the community, saying that he was a shining example of what it means to give back to one’s community.
“Hon. Elegant has been a pillar of support for our community, he has worked tirelessly to promote the development and progress of our community, and we are grateful for his contributions.”
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Adedamola Elegant expressed his gratitude to the community for the recognition, saying that it was a great honor to be acknowledged by his people.
He commended and dedicated the award of excellence to his mentor and the best-performing Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo for giving him the privilege to showcase his administrative prowess as one of the cabinet members of the council.
“I’ll never forget your impact in bringing me to the political limelight in Ido local government areas, Omo Adeojo I’m highly honored to graduate from your tutelage” he affirmed
Hon. Elegant further reiterated, “To Elenusonso Community, I am humbled by this recognition; I want to assure the community that I will continue to work tirelessly for the development and progress of our community.” He said.
